When it comes to chromebooks, size matters. The new Acer Chromebook 15 boasts a 15.6 inch display–the largest on the market–weighing in at just 2.2kg (4.85 pounds).

The new screen is 27% larger than traditional 13.3" chromebooks, offering more screen space for viewing multiple tabs, windows, and apps at once. The display comes in two HD options: Full-HD 1920x1080, and 1366x768. Both options use Acer ComfyView displays, which reduce glare and cause less eye strain.

The increased size of the screen also leaves ample room for two upward facing speakers, and for the largest touchpad of any Chromebook yet.

This is the company's first Chromebook to use 5th generation Intel Core i3 and next-generation Intel Celeron processors. Built-in MIMO 2x2 Wifi claims speeds up to three times faster than previous wireless connectivity options. There's also Bluetooth 4.0, a USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, HDMI port, and an SD card reader.

In addition to the release of the Chromebook 15, Acer is also expanding their Chromebook 13 line by offering new touchscreen models for a more intuitive, more interactive, and hopefully more fun Chromebook experience.
