Today, Samsung announced the ATIV One 7 Curved (MSRP $1,299.99), an all-in-one desktop featuring a curved display, and the ATIV Book 9 (MSRP $1,199.99 - $1,399.99), an all-aluminum portable laptop. According to Samsung, both products will be available for pre-order as soon as Q1 2015.

The ATIV One 7 Curved sports a full HD, 27-inch curved LCD screen as its namesake suggests. We've seen a lot of curves from Samsung displays, a trait featured in flagship models of Samsung's 2014 TV lineup, like the UN65HU7250.

The One 7 comes equipped with a 2.2GHz Intel Core i5 Processor, 8GB DDR3L RAM (1600 MHz), and a 1 TB hybrid hard disk. A key feature of the One 7 Curved is Samsung's SideSync software, which allows users to check texts, answer calls, and control their Samsung smartphone via their desktop.

On the portable front is the ATIV Book 9, a 2.09-pound, all-aluminum laptop that's a hair under a half-inch thick. The Book 9's 12.2-inch display isn't curved, but under the hood you'll find Intel's Core M processor, which promises Book 9 users powerful performance for up to 10.5 hours of battery life. The laptop is also equipped for Samsung SideSync, making it an attractive option for those with a couple Samsung devices on hand.

The ATIV Book 9 will be available with 4GB or 8GB of RAM and with 128GB SSD or 256GB SSD storage options. Keep an eye out for when both new computers are available for pre-order beginning Q1 2015.

Samsung also launched its Milk VR app today, which offers 360-degree video to anyone who purchased a Gear VR headset for the Galaxy Note 4. The service provides users with immersive virtual-reality video that can be downloaded or streamed directly.
